For non-fishing guests

The Yukon is also a paradise for non-fishing travel companions. For nature lovers, the warm dry climate is ideal for a variety of outdoor activities. The Lodge is surrounded by a network of hiking trails leading into the National Park, which can also be explored on the Lodge’s own mountain-bikes. Lodge-owned canoes are banked on various mountain lakes, inviting guests to embark on a wilderness excursion over the crystal-clear water. Many of the expeditions into the wilderness are not only planned for anglers. One special adventure, for instance, is a trip on the 4-wheelers to the log cabin at Frederick Lake. Besides the fabulous fishing, you are likely to spot moose, bears, eagles, beavers and much more wildlife. Or set off in an off-road vehicle to Mush and Bates Lakes and admire the scenery from the Lodge’s own motorboat and canoe. You can also rent a car and plan your own personal excursion. A really impressive drive takes you over the coastal mountain range to Haines/Alaska!
