Season review Camp Tjuonajokk 2009
|
|
The summer season 2009 at Camp Tjuonajokk is over.
Summing up this season we can report that the fishing has been as good as it used to be. The average length of our Grayling is more than 40 cm, the biggest was 63 cm this summer caught by Thomas from Switzerland. The Kaitum River Trout also showed up in good lengths, some were over 70 cm. Like in summer 2008 there were also a few Baltic Salmon caught even this year. The pike fishing has been good, the biggest was 115 cm caught on fly rod by Mr Mikael Johansson from Sweden.
The weather has been very dry at the beginning of the season. But then it was a bit cold with some rain. In the end we also had very warm and dry weather. The water level has been a little bit lower then normal during the whole season.
Our guests were happy as usual and all of them have caught many and big fishes. Almost everyone thought that the fishes were a little bit bigger this year.
We would like say thank You to all our guests who visited Camp Tjuonajokk this summer. We wish you all a good fishing season during autumn and winter – where ever you will be fishing.
We look forward to welcome both newcomers and returners to Tjuonajokk and Swedish Lapland in the summer 2010.
